Kamabesu is in a private residential location only minutes to the walking paths of Reef Bay, Ditleff Point, Fish Bay and Klein Bay beaches. Lush gardens with Orchids, Oleander, Hibiscus, Bouganvillia and Fan Palms border the driveway providing privacy and improving the views through the eyes and nose. Fruit trees like mango, papaya, coconut, lime and genip (a local fruit) produce seasonally on the property.
Ditleff Point: Rocky & sandy beach located about a 20 min walk from the house. Turn right out of driveway and right at bottom of hill onto Marina Drive. Continue out of Fish Bay and midway up hill come to sign saying DITLEFF POINT. Follow newly paved road onto Ditleff Point to small walking path about .3 miles up on the right side which leads down to water. Great for snorkeling and beach combing! If you want a stunning view continue straight to the top of Ditleff point instead of going to water. *NOTE Also a great running route in the mornings. Klein Bay Beach: About a 1.8 mile walk or drive. This rocky beach is great for late afternoon swims. Follow directions to Ditleff Point but instead of going pass Ditleff sign continue up steep hill and make a left onto Klein Bay road. Follow road to Turtle Road and turn right to the water’s edge. Bring beach chairs to setup on rocks or just a towel after a quick swim. Reef Bay Beach Trail: About a 2.25 mile walk or drive from Kamabesu along the main road. Leave the villa making a right and turn left onto Marina Drive. Continue on main road passing Guava Berry farms and turning left toward the water once you reach the mid-way height of the hill. Follow toward Half Moon house (large white crescent shaped home) and see walking trail to beach. Follow trail down to water. Often empty, this beach is very sandy but has great snorkeling. Good spot for private picnics. You can also drive here and park on the right side of road in front of the walking trail. Kamabesu is currently adding a pool and 2 bedrooms to the lower level of the property which is 70 feet beneath the main level. Construction is limited, often halted, to accommodate guests during rental periods and would in no way obstruct your view or disturb the peaceful tranquility of your stay.

Guest Comments " Kamabesu
- hard to pronounce but easy to fall in love with! We adore this villa
so much, we’ve been back twice. While we enjoy sampling the
local cuisine, we also enjoy preparing our own meals with the fresh
fish that is available daily. The kitchen at Kamebesu is generously
equipped to handle anything from a gourmet meal to a grilled cheese
sandwich. The island has the best beaches we’ve seen ANYWHERE
but we’re just as likely to relax on the expansive screened
in porch while enjoying the view of Fish Bay. We’re already
counting the days to our next visit! Make sure to pack light, all
you need is your bathing suit, a pair of sandals & sunscreen;
the hosts have thought of everything else." "We really
enjoyed our time at this villa. Everything we need and want when traveling
is there, including internet. The beds are hands down the most comfortable
I have ever been in, in my life and the views from the porch in the
morning are beautiful. I walked to the beach, brought picnics and
went swimming just minutes from the house. The weather was warm and
sunny yet the house has AC which is really nice in the Caribbean.
If you are looking for a quite, comfortable island villa, stay at
Kamabesu, its fantastic!"
