“Good Morning” – In St John, politeness comes before business. Saying good morning or good afternoon to a complete stranger or hearing it said to you can melt away anger or pent up negativity. This lesson spreads positivity and good will contagiously at an exponential rate.” Jared and Angie – Starlit Escape
No passport yet? St. John does not require a passport as it is a U.S. Territory. According to Homeland Security traveling to and from U.S. Territories, U.S. Citizens traveling to and returning directly from a U.S. territory are not considered to have left the U.S. territory and do not need to present a passport.
If you want to travel to the British Virgin Islands (and St John house rentals imagines you might) you NEED a passport.

St. John is the best choice of the four United States Virgin Islands. It is best known for its white sand beaches, turquoise bays, tropical fish and beautiful scenery. Only nine miles long and six miles wide, two thirds of the island is the Virgin Islands National Park. There are tours of the National Park by Jeep or safari bus and trail hikes led by Park Rangers who tell you about the island’s history, geology as well as its flora and fauna.
